The Companies Act 2006 specifies that a private limited company need not have a company secretary unless required by its Memorandum and Articles. A public limited company is still required to have a company secretary. We can offer a nominee company secretary to act (in name only) as your company secretary for both limited and plc companies. A charge of £60 per year is made for this nominee company secretary service and we do not charge for signing any documents that require the signature of the company secretary.
